Program Description

Event Details

Elizabeth Zott is a chemist, working during the early 1960s at Hastings Research Institute when she meets Calvin Evans, one of the only male employees who sees her mind and treats her as an equal.

Naturally, they fall in love, but like science, life is unpredictable. Which is why a few years later, Elizabeth finds herself not only a single mother, but the reluctant star of America's most beloved cooking show Supper at Six.

Join us for a discussion of Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
