Program Description

Event Details

Many people from all walks of life grew up or became famous here in Western Pennsylvania. In addition to Fred Rogers, you have probably heard the names Mancini, Stewart, Palmer, Warhol, Tarbell, Heisman, Foster, Mellon, and Salk. History instructor Steve Cicero will tell these and other stories of our world-famous neighbors, past and present.

Registration is required.

Steve Cicero is a former history instructor in the Butler Area School District. He is active with many historical organizations in Western PA as a part time teacher or volunteer, as well as several retired educator groups. In addition, he is always looking for ways to promote local history and historical sites through presentations and tours. Because he travels far and wide to show the story of America's past, he is known as "The History Hobo".
