Plant-Based Pittsburgh (also named Food for Health) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. Their mission is to provide education and ongoing support about how to adopt and sustain plant-centered eating habits. They strive to build a "community of health" based on the practice of whole food, plant-based (WFPB) food choices, i.e. grains, legumes, vegetables, and fruits, and with minimal processed foods, sugar, oil, and salt. For a wealth of information, events, or recipes, visit www.plantbasedpittsburgh.com.
