Event Details
In these 30-minute sessions, come and give your kids a chance to practice their skills by reading to a dog or cat. PAWtnering with Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, these friendly (and adoptable) dogs and cats are looking forward to listening to the stories told by your child.
Children are encouraged to bring their own book to read and blanket to sit on, but it's not necessary as we will be on a carpeted floor. Each animal will be assigned to an adult shelter representative.
Registration is required. Please only register the reader's name as space is limited to 7 readers in a time slot and write down how many adults and/or others will be accompanying the reader in the question below.
