Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and explore some of Japan's traditional art techniques at the library. Use water marbling–suminagashi–to dye paper fans, practice origami, and draw calligraphy. This program is in partnership with The Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania and is funded by Remake Learning Days!

We'll make some traditional Japanese snacks to enjoy with some tea. Registration is required.
