Join us at Northern Tier Library to welcome and learn about a very special guest: a real Alpaca! Our friends from The Crafty Alpaca will bring one of their Alpacas to meet our guests. We will also discuss the use of Alpaca fiber and what it takes to care for these cute animals.
We will learn how to make felt, simple weaving, and we will do some felt punching using this fiber. Supplies for other fiber activities such as knitting and crocheting will be available for guests to discover. This program is for all ages. Some activities might not be suitable for younger audiences as they require a bit more dexterity. Registration is required.
