Event Details

As land dwellers, amphibians almost got it right, but they had to go back into the water to lay their eggs. Reptiles—crocodiles, turtles, lizards, and snakes—invented shells. The baby and all its food stayed wet and useful inside its covering, and many new, strange forms of animals resulted.
