Event Details

This course will introduce programming concepts through the creative and visual coding style via Python's Turtle module. Turtle is utilized to teach beginners how to think in code by controlling a turtle that moves across the screen and draws images. Along with this, students will learn the basics of Python, a widely popular computer coding language. Individualized feedback will be provided from the instructor.

This series is for students ages 8 & up, and a laptop with the capacity to download programs is required. This four-day course will begin on Monday, August 11 and will run every day through Thursday, August 14. Please bring your own laptop if you can. 

Please keep in mind this series is cumulative, so attendance is encouraged for all four of the classes.
